In our thirty years together, my husband and I have traveled to many different parts of the world. We love exploring new places, foods, cultures and experiences! One of our favorite parts, however, is all of the planning that goes into creating a memorable experience. Once we decide on a destination, the planning begins - and so does the anticipation! Why City Escapes Cruises? Living in the DFW area means that we have to travel in order to cruise - and we've cruised out of Seattle, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Puerto Rico and Galveston. Cruising is a great way to escape the city, experience new places, foods and cultures and meet new friends - and you only have to unpack once! When I decided to transition out of education, one of the best pieces of advice I received was to transition into something I love. My husband transitioned to his dream job a few years ago (check out City Escapes Cabins!) and now it is my turn. As empty nesters and small business owners, I now have the ability to travel regularly and share my experiences with others. We are well known for sharing travel tips and tricks with friends and family - now we can share our knowledge with our clients, too!
This blog will be used to share travel hacks, reviews of cruises and/or vacations and new information that is shared with me by my travel partners. I'm so excited to share specific tips for first time cruisers, family cruising, and budget travel. I'll also share a few ways to avoid travel snafus and the best ways to prepare for your vacation. If you have any questions or requests for future topics, please send me an email at [email protected]. We are setting sail on the Ruby Princess out of Galveston in the next few weeks! We'll share pictures, videos and a review once we return. We planned it, and now we're going to live it! Share the knowledge
